Baptisms at Christ Church

Congratulations! Your new baby has arrived and, of course, you want the very best for them! In Church terms, Baptism (which is often called Christening) is one option. When a baby is Baptised, the parents and Godparents commit themselves, and their baby, to a churchgoing lifestyle. An alternative is a Service of Thanksgiving where parents and families give thanks for the birth (or adoption) of their child and everyone prays for family life.

Baptism is not only for newborn babies but is open to children of any age and adults.
